VOZOL Star 12000 Review: Battery Life, Puffs & Best Flavours

Quick answerThe VOZOL Star 12000 is a rechargeable disposable vape rated for up to 12,000 puffs. It has a 20 ml prefilled tank, a 650 mAh battery that charges in about 45 minutes over USB Type-C, a SiLC coil and 50 mg (5%) nicotine salt. It is not refillable. At Vozol Dubai every flavour costs AED 37: see all VOZOL Star 12000 flavours.

This review covers what the Star 12000 actually is, how long the battery and tank last, which flavours sell best in our store and how it compares with the cheaper Gear 10000 and the larger Star 20000. Every spec and price below comes from the products we stock.

VOZOL Star 12000 specs

The Star 12000 is only sold in 50 mg here. If you want a lower strength, it is not the right device; our guide to choosing a nicotine strength explains the options.

Is the VOZOL Star 12000 refillable?

No, the VOZOL Star 12000 is not refillable. The 20 ml tank is filled and sealed at the factory, and there is no fill port. What you can do is recharge the battery: when vapour gets weak but there is still liquid left, plug it in with a USB Type-C cable. Once the liquid runs out, the device is finished, so recycle it as e-waste rather than trying to open it.

How long does the VOZOL Star 12000 last?

It depends almost entirely on how much you vape. The 12,000 puff figure is the manufacturer’s rating, measured with short, even draws; long or heavy draws use more liquid per puff, so most people get fewer. As a rough guide:

These are simple divisions of the rated puff count, not lab tests. Treat them as a ceiling.

Battery life and charging time

A 650 mAh battery cannot vaporise all 20 ml on one charge, so expect to recharge it several times over the life of the device. A full charge takes about 45 minutes over USB Type-C. Shake the device to wake the display and check the battery level; weaker vapour is the other sign it needs charging. A phone charger is fine; avoid leaving it plugged in overnight.

How to get the most puffs out of it

• Take steady, moderate draws. Long, hard pulls burn through liquid faster and can flood the coil.
• Recharge before it is completely flat. Running a weak battery gives thin, dry-tasting puffs.
• Keep it out of the heat. Do not leave it in a parked car or in direct sun; UAE summer heat can cause leaks and affects the battery. Store it somewhere cool and dry.
• Store it upright if you will not use it for a day or two.

SiLC coil and performance

The Star 12000 uses VOZOL’s SiLC coil, which is designed to keep liquid supply and heating balanced so flavour stays steady from the first puff to the last. In practice that means the draw is the same at puff 100 and puff 10,000, as long as the battery is charged and the liquid has not run low. Our SiLC coil explainer goes into how the system works.

How to use it

1. Remove the packaging and any protective seal from the mouthpiece.
2. Shake it to wake the display and check the battery, then inhale gently. It fires on the draw; there is no button.
3. Charge with a USB Type-C cable when vapour gets weak.

Best VOZOL Star 12000 flavours

These are the five Star 12000 flavours our customers order most, based on Vozol Dubai sales. All are AED 37 and 50 mg.

1. Cool Mint – clean mint with a cold exhale. Our best seller in this range.
2. Mixed Berries – sweet blend of berries, no ice.
3. Strawberry Ice Cream – creamy, dessert-style strawberry.
4. Peach Mango Watermelon – a soft tropical fruit mix.
5. Grape Ice – sweet grape with a cool finish.

Also worth trying: Blue Razz Ice, Cherry Cola, Pineapple Coconut Ice and Tobacco. For what UAE customers say about each one, read Star 12000 popular flavours.

VOZOL Star 12000 vs Gear 10000 vs Star 20000

Which to pick: the Gear 10000 is the cheapest device to buy and has the same 20 ml tank, but a smaller battery, so it needs charging more often. The Star 12000 costs AED 4 more for a bigger battery and a slightly better cost per puff. If you vape a lot, the Star 20000 costs more up front but is the best value per puff. Our Gear 10000 beginner guide covers that model in more detail.

Our verdict

The Star 12000 is a sensible middle choice: rechargeable, steady flavour thanks to the SiLC coil, 30 flavours to choose from and a fair price at AED 37. The display shows battery and liquid levels, so it is unlikely to die without warning. Its limits are a single 50 mg strength and a sealed tank you cannot refill. If those suit you, it is one of the easiest VOZOL devices to live with.
