This policy explains what personal data Vozol Dubai (vozolxpress.ae) collects when you shop with us, why we need it, and the choices you have. We only collect what we need to deliver your order and run the store.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, mobile number, emirate, delivery address, email (optional) and the items you buy.
- Account details: if you create an account, your name, mobile number, email, password (stored encrypted) and your confirmation that you are 18 or older.
- Checkout progress: if you start checkout and do not finish, we keep the contact details and cart you entered so we can follow up on WhatsApp. These records are deleted automatically once they are no longer needed.
- Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp or by email.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and server logs to keep the site secure and working.
We do not store card numbers. Card on delivery is processed on the rider’s card machine, and card payment links are handled by our payment provider.
How we use it
- To confirm, prepare and deliver your order, and to contact you about it on WhatsApp, by phone or email.
- To check that customers are 18 or older, as required for nicotine products in the UAE.
- To process returns, refunds and customer service requests.
- To keep records required by UAE tax law (VAT invoices).
- To protect the site against fraud and abuse, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing messages unless you have asked us to.
Who we share it with
- Our delivery riders and courier partners, who receive your name, phone number and address to deliver the order.
- Our payment provider, when you choose a card payment link.
- Our hosting, email and analytics providers, who process data for us under contract.
- Authorities, where UAE law requires it.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for the cart, checkout and login, and to remember your preferences. Analytics cookies help us see which pages are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but the cart and checkout need essential cookies to work.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as UAE tax rules require (currently at least 5 years). Account data is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Unfinished checkout data is deleted automatically.
Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted where we are not required to keep it. You can also object to how we use it. Send your request on WhatsApp or by email and we will reply within 30 days.
Security
The site uses HTTPS encryption, passwords are stored encrypted, and access to order data is limited to staff who need it.
Age
Our products contain nicotine and are sold only to adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
