How to Spot Fake VOZOL Disposables in the UAE

Step 1: Verify the security code with VOZOL

VOZOL boxes carry an anti-counterfeit label. VOZOL’s own verification page (vozol.com, “Verify”) offers three ways to check it:

1. Photo check: take a clear photo of the verification image on the box and upload it. VOZOL notes that a blurry photo can affect the result.
2. Enter the code: type the security code from the label and press Verify.
3. Scan the QR code: scratch off the coating over the security code, scan the QR code and follow the link.

VOZOL states that a product is genuine only if its code verifies on vozol.com. A QR code that opens any other website, or a code that has no scratch-off layer, is a warning sign.

Step 2: Check the box and the device

• Print quality: text should be sharp, correctly spelt and evenly coloured. Smudged ink, spelling mistakes or a label that peels easily are warning signs.
• Seal: the box should arrive sealed and undamaged.
• Specs match the model: compare the puff count, e-liquid volume and nicotine strength on the box with the real model. For example, a Gear 10000 holds 20 ml, a Neon 10000 holds 10 ml, and a Star 40000 has a 1000 mAh battery. A model name or flavour that VOZOL does not make is a red flag.
• Build: the device should feel solid, with no loose parts, leaks or rattles, and it should fire when you draw.

Step 3: Be wary of prices that look too low

For reference, Vozol Dubai’s prices are AED 33 for the Gear 10000 and Gear Power 20000, AED 38 for the Neon 10000, Vista 20000 and Gear Shisha 25000, AED 45 for the Star 40000 and AED 55 for the Rave 40000. A price far below the usual market rate, especially from an unknown seller, is a reason to ask questions before buying.

Step 4: Buy from a seller you can contact

Most fakes are sold through anonymous social-media accounts or chat groups. Before you buy, check that the seller:

• has a working website with clear contact details and a returns policy,
• lists each product with its real specs and price,
• delivers with a traceable order, and
• will answer questions about where their stock comes from.
