VOZOL Gear Power 20000 vs Vozol Star 20000: Which Should You Buy?

Pick the VOZOL Gear Power 20000 if you want the lower price, Eco and Power modes, and a 20 mg option. Pick the VOZOL Star 20000 if you want nothing to adjust and a 30-minute charge. In Eco mode, the Gear Power costs less per puff, but in Power mode the Star works out cheaper. Both are sealed, rechargeable disposables with a screen.

Below you will find the cost per puff, how long each one lasts, Eco and Power explained, flavours, and a simple “buy this if” guide.

Gear Power 20000 or Star 20000: the short comparison

The main differences between the VOZOL Gear Power 20000 and the VOZOL Star 20000 are modes, price and nicotine choice. Here is the Gear Power 20K vs Star 20K difference, side by side.

Vozol Gear Power 20000 and Vozol Star 20000 flavours

The Gear Power has 20 flavours, and the Star 20000 has 19. Strawberry Kiwi, the most popular flavour at Vozol Dubai, is on both. Here are some of the flavours on each device.

If you like icy flavours, both devices have Grape Ice, Watermelon Ice and Mango Ice. The Gear Power adds Blue Razz Ice and Lemon Mint, and the Star adds Juicy Peach Ice.

If you like fruit mixes, both have Strawberry Kiwi, Mixed Berries and Raspberry Watermelon. The Star adds Tropical Blast and Raspberry Apple Watermelon Pineapple, while the Gear Power adds Strawberry Mango and Dragon Fruit Banana Cherry.

If you want a classic flavour, the Gear Power has Tobacco and the Star has Cherry Cola. Love 777 is the Star’s sweet pick. Check your favourite is on the device you want before you decide, so your flavour does not have to decide this for you.

Price: which costs less per puff?

The Gear Power is the cheaper of the two. The VOZOL Star 20000 price in Dubai is a little higher, so the real question is the cost per 1,000 puffs. That changes with the mode you use.

In Eco mode, the Gear Power costs about 22 percent less per puff than the Star. In Power mode, it costs about 30 percent more.

If you stay in Eco, the Gear Power gives you the best value. If you plan to live in Power mode, the Star 20000 gives you more puffs for your money. Prices vary a little by seller and flavour, so check the product page for today’s price.

How long does each one last, and what does it cost per day?

To work out how long each one lasts, divide the rated puffs by the puffs you take in a day. Here is how that looks for light, moderate and heavy use.

Real counts are usually lower than the rating, because longer, harder draws use more liquid. Use the table as a guide, not a promise.

Puffs and modes: Eco vs Power explained

This is the part that confuses most buyers. Both devices are called 20000, but only one of them has a choice to make.

The Gear Power gives you two modes. Each one changes how many puffs you get.

• Eco mode: up to 20,000 puffs, with a lighter hit.
• Power mode: about 12,000 puffs, with a stronger, warmer hit.

Higher power uses liquid and battery faster, so you get fewer puffs. The Star 20000 has no mode switch. It runs at one steady output and is rated up to 20,000 puffs.

If you are unsure, start in Eco mode. Our Voziol Gear Power 20000 review looks at the device in more detail.

Nicotine strength: 20 mg or 50 mg?

The Star 20000 comes in 50 mg (5%) nicotine salt only. The Gear Power 20000 comes in 20 mg or 50 mg.

50 mg is the stronger choice. 20 mg is the lighter one. If you want a lower strength at the 20,000 puff level, the Gear Power is the only one of the two that offers it. Pick the strength you want on the product page before you order.

If you are not sure which strength suits you, read our guide to choosing the right nicotine strength. These products are for adults only and contain nicotine.

Battery, screen and charging

Both are rechargeable disposable vapes sold in the UAE, and both charge through USB Type-C. They are also sealed, so you cannot refill them. When the liquid runs out, the device is finished.

Both come with a screen. Each one shows battery and liquid level, so there is no guessing when to plug in. If you want a disposable vape with a screen in Dubai, either one fits.

• Gear Power 20000: a 650 mAh battery and a dual mesh coil.
• Star 20000: a full charge in about 30 minutes and a mesh coil.
• Both: a USB Type-C port and a screen.

Which one is easier to use?

The Star 20000 is the easier of the two. It has no modes, no airflow settings, and no buttons. You draw, it fires, and the screen tells you when to charge. It uses a mouth-to-lung draw, like a cigarette-style pull.

The Gear Power asks for one choice: Eco or Power. Eco gives the lighter hit and the full 20,000 puffs. Power gives the stronger hit and about 12,000 puffs. Once you pick a mode, it is just as simple to use.

If you have never used a device with modes, start in Eco and move to Power only if the hit feels too light. Our guide to Vozol Star 20000 review covers the Star in more detail.

Gear Power 20000 and Star 20000 flavours

The Gear Power has 20 flavours, and the Star 20000 has 19. Strawberry Kiwi, the most popular flavour at Vozol Dubai, is on both devices.

If you already know your favourite flavour, check it is on the device you want before you decide. Fans of Strawberry Kiwi can pick either device, so your favourite does not have to decide this for you.

Which one fits the way you vape?

What each one gives up

Every choice has a cost. Here is what you give up with each one.

The Gear Power 20000 gives up:

• A device with nothing to set.
• The full 20,000 puffs if you use Power mode, which is rated at about 12,000.

The Star 20000 gives up:

• The lower price.
• A choice of modes. You cannot change the output.
• The lighter 20 mg strength. It is 50 mg only.

Both are sealed and cannot be refilled. When the liquid is gone, you need a new device.

Using either one in UAE heat

Heat is hard on a sealed device. It wears down the battery and thins the liquid, and you cannot fix a leak on a device you cannot open. So keep either one out of a parked car, and charge it indoors in the cool.

Common questions and answer

Which is better, the Gear Power 20000 or the Star 20000?

The Gear Power is the better value in Eco mode, at about AED 1.75 per 1,000 puffs. The Star 20000 is the easier one to use. Pick the Gear Power for price and control, and the Star for simplicity.

How many puffs does the Gear Power 20000 give in Power mode?

About 12,000 puffs, against up to 20,000 in Eco mode. Power mode uses liquid and battery faster, which is why the count drops. These are rated figures, so your own count will vary.

What nicotine strength does each one have?

The Star 20000 is 50 mg only. The Gear Power 20000 comes in 20 mg or 50 mg, so it is the one to pick if you want the lighter strength.

Is the Star 20000 worth the extra money?

Only if you want nothing to adjust and a quick 30 minute charge. If you plan to use Power mode all the time, the Star also costs less per puff, so it can be the better value.

Does the Star 20000 have modes?

No. It runs at one steady output, which keeps it simple. If you want to change the hit, the Gear Power is the one with modes.

How long will each one last?

Divide the rated puffs by your daily puffs. At 300 puffs a day, the Star 20000 and the Gear Power in Eco mode last about 67 days, and Power mode about 40 days. Real counts are usually lower.

Which is cheaper per puff?

The Gear Power is cheaper per puff in Eco mode. In Power mode, the Star 20000 works out cheaper per puff.

Do both have a screen?

Yes. Each one has an LED screen that shows battery and liquid level, so you can see when to charge and when the liquid is low.

Can I charge both with USB C?

Yes, both charge through USB Type C. Charge them only while you are awake and nearby, and unplug them when they are full.

How do I know a VOZOL is genuine?

Buy from a licensed UAE seller and check the packaging and the screen. Our guide on how to spot a fake VOZOL in the UAE shows you what to look for.

Final Thought

Choose by how you like to vape, not just by price. A lower price, a 20 mg option and Eco and Power modes point to the Gear Power. Simplicity and a quick charge point to the Star 20000.

At 300 puffs a day, both are rated for about two months in Eco mode, so either one covers a lot of days. Keep them cool, charge them with care, and you will get the most from them.
